CASE STUDY

When visiting Venice I often choose to stay on Lido, where I have a warehouse, which is accessible by car, with magnificent views over the lagoon, I often stay at the splendidly placed Hotel Riviera, with this marvellous view across the lagoon towards Venice. Having stayed at the hotel during one of my exhibitions, I entered into a collaboration with the hotel, which commissioned me to decorate the newly refurbished restaurant. The biggest piece is a panoramic view of more than 5 metres. Other smaller pieces are also exhibited and many framed originals decorate the Venetian rooms.

Menu presentations complete the collaboration. Drawing courses planned. An “Artist in residence” scheme and drawing courses are planned. The romantic atmosphere and beautiful view of the Venice lagoon, enjoyed by most rooms, make them perfect for a romantic getaway or a charming stay just minutes from St. Mark’s Square. The rooms at Hotel Riviera offer tastefully furnished environments, finished with fine drapes and delicate lighting, each personalised with different colour tones and finishes. Some rooms have a terrace where you can sip the typical Venetian aperitif, the “spritz,” in front of an unforgettable sunset over Venice. From the comfort of the lagoon-view rooms or the panoramic terrace, you can witness unforgettable sunsets that paint the sky in vibrant hues. The elegant and historically styled Venetian hotel offers a perfect blend of luxury and tradition, providing an unparalleled vantage point to soak in the enchanting atmosphere of this timeless city. At Bar Riviera, they specialize in crafting exceptional drinks that combine classic techniques
